Initially the medical clinic was started on a relatively small scale, treating mostly cuts and bruises.
This venture however has gone on to become a very essential daily medical service to the local community.
All treatment and medication is free of charge to the patients.
This service is aimed at helping the poorer people in our area who are in need of medical services they could not otherwise afford.

Lisoi Meseliyeki is an 11 year old Maasai girl who desperately needed a heart operation. For this she had to travel to Cape Town Red Cross children's hospital.
The cost of the operation was 6.7 million shillings.
Amongst the major contributors were The Snake Park, Braeburn School, various overland-truck companies and tourists.
Air Tanzania very kindly gave a large discount on the airfare to Cape Town.
